WatchI only showed part of the ordering process, but this spread was the result. We had a hot pot where the white side was mild and the darker side was spicy. Different things were added to the soup and cooked and then eaten. Dessert which is not shown was shaved rice with a strawberry sauce similar to a snow cone, but real fruit.
WatchOrdering is almost an art form here in Taiwan. My good friend Nick is ordering at the Szechuan Restaurant where we ate last night.
WatchI really like the ticket reader at the Beijing Airport that says thank you every time a ticket is read. I thought I was needing to get on board or I would have tried to get a longer clip of this when the line was moving quickly. Xai Xai is thank you. I think phonetically it is more like shay shay.
WatchIt was a long walk to the gate, but there were moving sidewalks.
WatchAJ’s traveling with me has come to an end. I am in the NW Lounge in Narita and heading to Beijing in about 3 hours.

WatchHere comes a train headed from Tokyo towards Nagoya. AJ and I ended the day by catching the train back to Tokyo.
WatchTradition has it that if you eat a black egg boiled in the Hot Springs in Hakone, you will add 7 years to your life. AJ and I each ate 3 as they sold them at a minimum of 6 at a time. The minerals in the water cause the outer shell to turn black.

WatchThe bidders check out the quality of tuna by inspecting, feeling and tasting little pieces.
WatchThe set up the tuna in rows and blocks for the bidding process seems to be tough work. It appears the fish are flash frozen at sea and brought into the market
