This is a beautiful wooden boat that was built by the current owner. Occasionally he will take it out, down the Potomac and into the Chesapeake.
I got up after sleeping in this morning and walked out on the floating docks to watch folks who were hand line crabbing. They had only caught 4 keepers. Apparently there is a lot of crabbing and fishing for rock fish out of the campground. They are expecting the bigger rockfish to start moving in soon. My next door neighbor had a real nice party today. She has recently lost her husband and I think it was nice for her to have some friends and family in for the party. There was wonderful food that included marinated and grilled prok loin as well as BBQ chicken, sausage and all the associated fixings. I met some more of my neighbors that had come in from as far away as York, PA for the weekend. It is a little chillier tonight so I may zip up the windows to stay warm. I am planning to go to church in the morning and then possibly shop for a grill and possibly a refrigerator. Buying ice each day gets old.
I went to the office today and payed up my month’s rent. So now it is official I will be in the Pop up down by the river for a month.

This is my backyard neighbor. I have not met them yet, but maybe this weekend. We were welcomed by the folks in residence on Rockfish Ln.
Its time to go camping!
